Jax in his new home

We called Jax "Tanner", and he lived for several months at Carolyn's house, getting used to other dogs, kids and lots of cats. He is no doubt a Doberman mix and just a lovely, sweet young dog!
His new family is kind enough to send us updates and photos...Jax is obviously a much loved and well cared for family member, which is just what he deserves!

We may be doing another clinic down in Auburn Hills at Petco. In this crappy economy, people really appreciate a deal. Michigan law mandates a rabies vaccine every three years after the puppy vax and one year booster.

2009 Rabies Clinic

Mid Michigan Wildlife and Animal Rescue held its third annual rabies clinic at Petco on Miller Road in Flint. While not our busiest year, we still vaccinated a lot of dogs and quite a few cats! It's hard to beat $10 rabies shots and $12 distemper combos, and rescues bringing in multiple pets got a further discount. Dr. Melissa Schultz was the presiding veterinarian, and we had a host of wonderful volunteers.









This is Little Laura, a three day old kitten who came along with Tabetha so she could get fed every few hours. Ain't she cute?
